Vacuum packaging is a specialized technique for packaging items that cannot come into contact with air, or for minimizing the bulk of bags. It involves sucking out the air inside the package once the product has been inserted. The bag is then sealed, eliminating any air inside. The video shows a packaging line filling bags with the product and vacuum-sealing them using heat shrink.
The robotic hand opens the bag, inserts the pre-counted items, and a system sucks the air out of the bag. The machine then seals the bag with the welder, and the finished bag exits the heat shrink tunnel. A conveyor belt then transports the vacuum-packed bag into a dedicated box. Vacuum packaging minimizes the size of the bag while also keeping the product securely contained within the package.
